Microsoft's gaming subscription service has come a long way since its inception in 2017. Now, with PC Game Pass extending to a host of more countries, Xbox Game Pass looks to expand its popularity and user base even further. Over the years, the tech giant's subscription service has grown to be one of gaming's most popular services. All new Microsoft games also come to the library on day one, and that will be the case this year for the upcoming Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, Starfield, and Redfall.Microsoft has announced it's bringing the Xbox Game Pass's PC offering to 40 new countries starting today. PC Game Pass is great value for PC gamers as it provides access to a vast catalog of first-party and third-party games for a low monthly price. Microsoft has also started trialing an Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan in select markets. The company announced back in January 2022 that Game Pass had surpassed 25 million subscribers, though this number includes Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. In the coming months, Microsoft’s PC Game Pass service will be available in a total of 86 countries. The service is also available for a special discounted price for the first month of subscription. To sign up, Windows users need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app and opt-in for the Preview program. “Beginning on February 28, gamers in these new markets can sign up for PC Game Pass Preview program giving them immediate access to a library of hundreds of high-quality PC games on Windows including new Xbox Game Studios releases on day one, iconic Bethesda games, an EA Play membership, and member-only benefits in Riot Games,” the Xbox team explained today.
